The Thermo Hybrid Pad is a new machine polishing pad design that combines foam and wool materials to create a “hybrid” wool pad with a foam interface. The pad creates an incredible amount of cut that you would expect from a harder, twisted wool pad, while it finishes much better with the lambswool surface.
The pad has a stable structure, which means that the cutting force can be kept at the same level at any working moment. Unlike similar polishing pads, the Thermopad does not lose its abrasive power and dissipates 80% of the heat.
The polishing pad is therefore also far more durable than conventional foam pads, depending on handling, about 5 – 7 times longer than a standard polishing sponge. The sponge works with all paintwork.
